12/12/06 Cold in Dolores the last few days and 6 inches of fresh snow on the ground. Dolores is gleaming with Holiday decorations and all the lights makes the community glow in the dark. The new Headquarter for the Forest Service is now open. All new construction with spacious offices welcomes you to visit. It is located 2 minutes away on Hwy. 184. Construction took most of 2 years. Next time you are in the area a visit is a must. All of us here at Dolores Mountain Inn wish to thank you all for staying with us and all the best for the Holidays. We very much appreciate your business and will do our best to give you good reasons to come back again and again.

12/07/06 Lots of fresh snow in the mountains makes the Ski Resorts happy with good early crowds. The last hunting season ended middle of November making leaving Dolores all quiet. All merchants resting for a while before starting planning for next season. Many new people have found our area to be the place to relocate to and new construction can be found every where.

Cold nights brings deep frost over night but days still around 35-40 and melting melting it all again. Dolores Mountain Inn will do some remodeling over the off season. A few new kitchens in some of the suites will make it all more perfect in our pursuite to offer our guests the best product for the best price.
